Job Summary
We are looking for dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executives / Sales Managers to drive retail and distribution sales for our range of spices and masala products. The ideal candidate should have experience in FMCG sales, distributor management, retailer engagement, and market expansion. The role involves achieving sales targets, strengthening distributor networks, and increasing product visibility in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the retail and distributor network within the assigned territory.
- Appoint new distributors, dealers, and retailers to increase market reach.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Generate secondary sales through effective retailer engagement.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance and identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key customers.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising at retail outlets.
- Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Coordinate with distributors for timely order placement and stock replenishment.
- Monitor outstanding payments and support timely collections.
- Plan and execute promotional activities and sales campaigns.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and submit them to management.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (MBA in Marketing is an added advantage).
- 1–8 years of experience in FMCG, Spices, Masala, Food Products, or related industries.
- Freshers with excellent communication and sales aptitude may also apply for Sales Executive positions.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in retail and distribution sales.
- Knowledge of territory management and market development.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and work independently.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
Preferred Experience
- FMCG sales experience in Spices, Masala, Food Products, or Consumer Goods.
- Experience handling distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
- Knowledge of local markets and sales channels.
