Job Description – Developmental Therapist Position Developmental Therapist Job Summary The Developmental Therapist will work with children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, sensory and behavioral concerns through individualized developmental intervention programs. The role includes assessment, therapy planning, parent guidance, documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination to support the child’s overall development and functional independence. Key Responsibilities Conduct developmental assessments and therapy sessions Plan and implement individualized intervention programs Work on cognitive, social, communication, behavioral, sensory, and adaptive skills Provide parent guidance, home programs, and progress updates Maintain therapy notes, reports, and documentation Coordinate with psychologists, therapists, schools, and pediatricians Qualification Bachelor’s/Master’s in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech & Hearing, Social Work, Rehabilitation Sciences, or related Allied Health Sciences. Preference will be given to candidates with: P.G. Diploma in Developmental Therapy (PGDDT) P.G. Diploma in Early Intervention (PGDEI) RCI-recognized certifications/training in Developmental Therapy or Early Intervention Experience 0–3 years experience in child development centres, early intervention setups, schools, clinics, or rehabilitation settings preferred. Skills Required Strong child interaction and observation skills Knowledge of developmental milestones and neurodevelopmental disorders Good communication and documentation skills Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
