Profile Overview:
Category Manager-This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where you'll own the end-to-end business outcomes for your category driving GMV, margin, and growth through supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, and close collaboration with Product and Growth teams to shape what gets built next.

What we are looking for:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end P&L outcomes for (Domestic Flights / Hotels / Holiday Packages) — GMV, margin/take-rate, and growth — not just track and report on them.
- Build and manage supplier/vendor relationships directly — negotiate commercial terms, own SLAs, and resolve escalations without needing sign-off for standard deals.
- Run deep-dive analyses — pricing, funnel drop-off, supply-side performance — using (tools: e.g., SQL, Metabase, Excel) to catch trends and anomalies, and convert findings into action within decided timeframes.
- Set category strategy and prioritize the roadmap in partnership with Product and Growth — you drive the what and why; Product owns final build feasibility and sequencing.
- Design and run A/B tests and experiments to validate growth levers , and make scale/kill calls based on results.
- Act as the primary cross-functional voice for your category across product, tech, business, ops, and finance — and guide analysts/coordinators supporting the category .
Desired Candidate Profile
- Have 5-7 years of experience, including at least 2+ years owning a category or product line end-to-end
- Be comfortable negotiating and managing supplier/vendor relationships directly
- Be comfortable working with data, dashboards, and metrics as a baseline skill, not a differentiator
- Have prior experience in marketplace, travel, SaaS, or other transaction-heavy platforms
- Disciplined & Process Oriented

The Recruitment Process:
1. Personal Interviews: 2-3 video interviews. Detailed discussions about the job profile, company & candidature are discussed in these rounds, along with a business case study to assess category ownership and commercial judgment.
2. Extending an offer: On successfully clearing the interview rounds, the job offer is extended to the candidate. This includes financial benefits and many other benefits
