Internship Description:
We are looking for a creative and organized Assistant Designer & Merchandising Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the design process and assisting with merchandising—helping us meet market demands while developing your own skills in real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design Assistance:
- Support the design team in creating concepts for seasonal collections.
- Assist with sketching, technical drawings, and basic prototypes.
- Research current trends and competitor offerings to inspire original ideas.
Merchandising:
- Help analyze market trends and consumer preferences.
- Assist with developing product assortments that align with brand goals.
- Support coordination with suppliers and help track production schedules.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and sales on product presentations.
- Join brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new collections and strategies.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or related fields.
- Proficiency or coursework in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD).
- Strong interest in fabric, color, and current trends.
- Excellent organization and communication.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior internship, project, or coursework experience in design/merchandising is a plus, not required.
