Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail oriented and skilled CAD Modelling & Drafting Specialist to join our dynamic team at TechM Chennai TMCC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in CAD software and drafting techniques, with a proven ability to create precise and accurate models and drawings. This role is critical in supporting our engineering and design teams in delivering high quality projects on time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce detailed CAD models and technical drawings based on project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project needs and provide innovative solutions.
- Ensure all drawings and models comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
- Maintain organized documentation of all CAD files and project related materials.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and best practices to enhance productivity.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards and practices.
- Ability to create 2D and 3D models with high accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a specific industry (e.g., manufacturing, construction, automotive, etc.).
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with simulation software or rendering tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2 5 years of relevant experience in CAD modelling and drafting.
- Proven track record of successful project contributions.
- Certification in CAD software is a plus.
Pay: From ₹1,000,000.00 per year
