Job Description
We are seeking a versatile and proactive PHP Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between custom application development and modern e-commerce engineering. You will be responsible for building robust backend services using PHP and Laravel, creating highly customized WordPress experiences, and driving our e-commerce operations on the Shopify platform.
We are looking for a candidate who values the rigor of custom Laravel development but is equally comfortable navigating the ecosystems of WordPress and Shopify to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustom PHP & Laravel Development
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework.
- Build secure, clean, and maintainable PHP code following PSR standards and OOP practices.
- Develop, optimize, and document robust RESTful APIs for internal and external service integrations.
- Manage database architecture, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization for MySQL.
WordPress CMS Management
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, prioritizing security and performance over reliance on pre-built templates.
- Maintain, debug, and optimize existing WordPress and WooCommerce installations.
- Implement security best practices, perform core/plugin updates, and troubleshoot site-wide technical issues.
Shopify Development & Integration
- Customize Shopify themes utilizing Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Build custom e-commerce features and integrate third-party apps or custom logic using the Shopify API (REST/GraphQL).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline product catalogs, checkout flows, and payment gateway configurations.
- Develop transactional landing pages and execute frontend adjustments to improve conversion and user experience.

Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience or a strong technical foundation in Shopify Liquid development.
- Ability to write clean, semantic, and well-documented code.
- Strong analytical skills with a collaborative, adaptable, and team-first mindset.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
