About the Role
We are looking for a skilled, dedicated, and compassionate Ayurveda Therapist to join our wellness and healthcare team. The therapist will be responsible for providing traditional Ayurvedic therapies and wellness treatments based on individualized treatment plans prescribed by Ayurvedic doctors. The role involves maintaining high standards of hygiene, patient comfort, and professional care while supporting patients in their physical, mental, and holistic healing journey.
The ideal candidate should possess good knowledge of Ayurvedic therapies, body treatments, oils, and wellness procedures, along with excellent interpersonal and patient-handling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Ayurvedic therapies and wellness treatments as prescribed by Ayurvedic physicians
- Administer therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Kizhi, Steam Therapy, and Panchakarma procedures
- Prepare therapy rooms, herbal oils, medicines, and treatment materials before sessions
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during therapy sessions
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sterilization of therapy rooms and equipment
- Monitor patient responses during treatments and report observations to doctors
- Guide patients regarding post-therapy care and wellness practices
- Maintain proper records of therapies and treatment schedules
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff for effective patient care
- Follow organizational protocols, safety standards, and Ayurvedic treatment guidelines
- Assist in promoting holistic wellness and healthy lifestyle practices
Eligibility Criteria
- Certification / Diploma in Ayurveda Therapy, Panchakarma Therapy, or related field
- Prior experience in Ayurvedic hospitals, wellness centers, spas, or clinics preferred
- Knowledge of Panchakarma treatments and Ayurvedic oils/procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle patients professionally and compassionately
- Male therapists may attend male patients and female therapists may attend female patients, as per organizational policy
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of traditional Kerala Ayurvedic therapies
- Basic understanding of human anatomy and wellness care
- Strong teamwork and patient management skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts if required
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
