Job Responsibilities
'• Serve as the functional lead during the EPM tool rollout, assisting in the transition from Excel-based models to system-driven workflows.
- Translate existing FP&A processes, formulas and reporting formats into EPM tool-specific technical requirements.
- Develop and test multi-dimensional modules, calculation logic and business rules within the new EPM environment.
- Lead the cleansing and mapping of historical financial data from current ERPs/Excel into the EPM tool architecture.
- Coordinate the first live cycles of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and rolling forecasts within the tool.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the system accurately reflects Maruti’s P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow structures.
- Identify manual bottlenecks in the current FP&A cycle and re-engineer them for automation within the EPM tool platform.
- Perform variance analysis (actuals vs budget/forecast) and provide meaningful insights for informed decision-making
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic planning and business evaluation
- Leverage EPM tools for planning, forecasting, consolidation and scenario analysis
- Collaborate closely with R2R, Controlling, Business Finance teams and business, plant & cross-functional teams to deliver actionable financial insights and support operational performance
- Analyze cost structures, margins and key financial metrics within a manufacturing environment
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity and governance across financial systems and reports
Competencies / Skills
'• Hands-on experience in EPM tools such as Tagetik and/or Anaplan
- Strong domain knowledge of FP&A processes, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Sound understanding of manufacturing finance, cost structures and operational drivers
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; working knowledge of BI tools (Power BI or similar) is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
