Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality YouTube videos, reels, and social media content
- Transform raw footage into engaging, story-driven videos
- Apply documentary-style editing, motion graphics, and cinematic cuts
- Work on B-roll integration, jump cuts, zooms, and visual storytelling
- Add subtitles, sound effects, background music, and transitions
- Maintain proper pacing, emotional flow, and viewer engagement
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams for content strategy
- Deliver edits that are high-retention and algorithm-friendly
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
- Expertise in:
- Storytelling & narrative structure
- Sound design & background music selection
- Motion graphics & kinetic typography
- Color grading & cinematic visuals
- Understanding of YouTube and Instagram content trends
- Ability to create hook-based, attention-grabbing edits
- Experience in short-form (Reels/Shorts) + long-form content
Editors must understand that editing is not just cutting clips — it's storytelling, pacing, and emotion building
