About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Writer who can understand technical processes and convert them into clear, accurate, and easy-to-follow documentation for customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technically accurate and grammatically correct User Manuals, Installation Guides, SOPs, Datasheets, Brochures, and other technical documentation.
- Create customer-facing literature explaining product operation, installation, specifications, features, and usage.
- Prepare detailed technical datasheets and component specifications for suppliers to clearly communicate material and quality requirements and minimize rejection or expectation gaps.
- Develop printed and audio-visual SOPs for assembly, sub-assembly, QC, and production teams to standardize processes and reduce training time.
- Observe manufacturing and operational processes, identify gaps, and continuously improve SOPs for better productivity and quality.
- Work closely with R&D, Purchase, Production, QC, R&M, and Management to understand technical requirements, processes, and problem statements.
- Use tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Canva Pro, Photoshop, Auto CAD, SolidWorks, video-editing software, AI tools, and other relevant software to create professional documentation.
- Maintain proper version control, revision history, and organized records of technical documents.
Candidate Profile
- Strong written English with excellent grammar and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical and engineering concepts clearly.
- Good visualization, formatting, documentation, and information-structuring skills.
- Comfortable working directly with engineering, production, and shop-floor teams.
- Ability to convert complex technical information into simple, precise, and user-friendly content.
- Experience with manufacturing, electronics, mechanical, or electromechanical products will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
