Job Description – Sales Manager (Sugar Industry Chemicals)
Key Responsibilities
· Drive sales and business development of sugar industry chemicals and process solutions.
· Identify and develop new business opportunities with sugar mills and related industries.
· Build, manage, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
· Provide technical consultation and solutions to improve customer process efficiency.
· Coordinate product trials, demonstrations, and technical presentations at client sites.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
· Handle negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract closures.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Sugar Technology, B.Sc. in Chemistry, or B.E. in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry-related field (MBA preferred).
· Certified/qualified Sugar Technologist will be an added advantage.
· 2–5 years of experience in sales/technical sales within sugar industry or industrial chemicals.
· Strong understanding of sugar processing and specialty chemicals.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
· Ability to explain technical concepts to customers effectively.
· Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development.
