- Design and develop multi-layer PCBs (analog, digital, mixed-signal) based on system and product requirements
- Convert schematics into optimized PCB layouts with proper consideration for signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal performance
- Select components and create/maintain schematic symbols and PCB footprints
- Develop and debug embedded firmware for microcontrollers (bare-metal or RTOS based)
- Interface firmware with hardware peripherals
- Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams during design and validation
- Support board bring-up, firmware flashing, and hardware–software integration
- Perform debugging using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers
- Generate complete manufacturing outputs including Gerbers, BOM, pick-and-place files, and assembly drawings
- Work with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to address DFM, DFA, and DFT feedback
