We are looking for energetic, customer-friendly, and enthusiastic Sales Assistants to join our lifestyle retail store in Dibrugarh. The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with customers, maintaining an attractive store environment, and contributing to sales growth while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in selecting products based on their needs.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards at all times.
- Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist with merchandising, product replenishment, and promotional displays.
- Handle billing and POS transactions accurately.
- Pack customer purchases and process exchanges or returns as per company policy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
- Receive, unpack, label, and arrange new inventory.
- Assist in periodic stock counts and inventory management.
- Meet individual and store sales targets.
- Stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and product features.
- Work collaboratively with the Store Manager and fellow team members.
Mandatory Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail store, supermarket, lifestyle, fashion, gifting, or FMCG outlet will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, energetic, and customer-oriented personality.
- Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn POS billing systems.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and assist with stocking merchandise.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Higher Secondary (10+2).
- Graduates are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior experience at organized retail brands such as Miniso, Reliance Trends, Smart Bazaar, Pantaloons, Lifestyle, Westside, Max, Zudio, Shoppers Stop, or similar retail stores will be preferred.
