PHP MVC Developer (Laravel / Zend / CodeIgniter / Symfony) – ExcelPTP Solutions, Ahmedabad

Job Summary
ExcelPTP Solutions is looking for a passionate PHP MVC Developer to build scalable web applications using Laravel, Zend Framework, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or other MVC frameworks. You will work on live international projects, develop enterprise applications, and collaborate with experienced developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP MVC Frameworks such as Laravel, Zend, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Yii.
Build clean, reusable, secure, and scalable application architecture.
Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
Work with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases including query optimization.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and Front-End developers for responsive web applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and maintain existing applications.
Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest PHP ecosystem, AI tools, and modern development practices.

Required Skills
12 Months to 4 Years of experience in PHP Web Development.
Hands-on experience with Laravel, Zend Framework, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Yii, or any MVC Framework.
Strong knowledge of PHP, OOP Concepts, MVC Architecture, and Design Patterns.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, Stored Procedures, and Database Optimization.
Knowledge of REST APIs, Authentication, Payment Gateway, and Third-Party API Integration.
Experience with Git/GitHub and version control systems.
Basic knowledge of Linux Server, Apache/Nginx, and Cloud Hosting is an advantage.
Strong logical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand business requirements and develop scalable software solutions.
Effective use of AI development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude, Gemini, or similar.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
B.E., B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc. (IT/CS), BCA, or equivalent qualification.
Experience with React.js, Angular, Vue.js, or modern JavaScript frameworks is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Docker, AWS, CI/CD, or DevOps practices will be a plus.
Experience working on ERP, CRM, SaaS, eCommerce, or Enterprise Applications is preferred.
