Job Purpose
The Rope Access Trainer is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating rope access training programs in accordance with applicable industry standards. The role ensures participants develop the knowledge, practical skills, and safe work practices required to perform rope access activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Assessment
- Deliver classroom and practical Rope Access training programs as per approved course curriculum.
- Conduct theory sessions, demonstrations, practical exercises, and competency assessments.
- Evaluate trainee performance through written, oral, and practical examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to trainees.
- Ensure all training activities comply with applicable Rope Access standards and company procedures.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all practical training is conducted safely using approved equipment and procedures.
- Conduct pre-use inspections of all rope access equipment before each training session.
- Monitor trainees' compliance with safety requirements and proper use of PPE.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses, or damaged equipment.
- Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and client requirements.
Equipment Management
- Inspect, maintain, and record all rope access equipment and training materials.
- Ensure equipment inspection records and certification documents are updated.
- Coordinate with the equipment custodian for repair or replacement of defective equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all training equipment.
Documentation & Administration
- Prepare attendance sheets, assessment records, practical evaluation reports, and training feedback.
- Submit training completion reports to the Training Department.
- Maintain trainee records and certification documentation.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required training documentation.
Client Support
- Deliver training at client locations whenever assigned.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and trainees.
- Represent the company professionally during all training assignments.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Train-the-Trainer programs and refresher training.
- Stay updated with industry standards, legislation, and best practices related to rope access and working at height.
- Recommend improvements to training materials, equipment, and delivery methods.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
- Valid Rope Access Certification (IRATA, SPRAT, or equivalent recognized certification).
- Train the Trainer Certification (preferred).
- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred).
- Working at Height Certification.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of practical Rope Access industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience delivering Rope Access training.
- Experience working in industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Construction, Power Plants, Telecom, Infrastructure, or Manufacturing.
- Experience in conducting practical rescue exercises.

Pay: ₹13,680.16 - ₹60,000.00 per month
