Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating business opportunities, managing student enquiries, increasing admissions, developing business strategies, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring timely follow-up of all leads received through various channels. The role is accountable for achieving admission targets, maximizing lead conversion, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the organization.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Lead Management
- Receive and monitor all enquiries generated through telephone calls, WhatsApp, email, website, social media, and other marketing campaigns.
- Ensure every enquiry is attended to promptly and professionally.
- Call back all missed calls and respond to WhatsApp enquiries within the prescribed turnaround time.
- Assign and forward leads to the respective Centre Heads, PROs, Counsellors, or concerned departments for immediate follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records of all enquiries and follow-up status in the CRM or lead management system.
- Ensure that no genuine enquiry remains unattended.
2. Business Development
- Develop and implement strategies to increase admissions and revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and institutional tie-ups.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Expand the company's presence through networking and promotional activities.
3. Admission & Revenue Growth
- Achieve annual admission targets.
- Maximize conversion of enquiries into admissions.
- Monitor admission trends and recommend corrective actions when targets are not achieved.
- Coordinate with marketing and counselling teams to improve conversion rates.
4. Team Coordination
- Coordinate with Centre Heads, PROs, Counsellors, and Marketing Teams.
- Ensure timely distribution of leads.
- Conduct regular follow-up meetings regarding pending enquiries.
- Support centres in achieving admission targets.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain professional communication with prospective students and parents.
- Resolve customer queries promptly.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the admission process.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on:
- Lead status
- Call reports
- Admission conversion reports
- Marketing effectiveness
- Business development activities
- Maintain confidentiality of all company information and customer data.
7. Performance Monitoring
- Track lead conversion ratios.
- Monitor response times for incoming enquiries.
- Review pending and unattended leads regularly.
- Recommend improvements to business development processes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly admission targets achieved.
- Lead response time.
- Lead conversion percentage.
- Number of unattended or pending enquiries.
- Revenue generated.
- Business partnerships established.
- Customer satisfaction levels.
- Accuracy and timeliness of reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (MBA in Marketing/Sales preferred).
- 5–9 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or Admission Management.
- Experience in the education, training, aviation, or service sector is preferred.

Key Responsibilities Regarding Company Leads
The Business Development Manager shall:
- Attend every incoming business enquiry without undue delay.
- Return all missed calls within the stipulated time.
- Respond to all WhatsApp and digital enquiries promptly.
- Ensure that no lead is ignored, abandoned, or deleted without authorization.
- Forward enquiries to the concerned centre or counsellor for follow-up.
- Monitor the progress of every assigned lead until closure.
- Report any technical issues affecting lead management immediately.
- Protect the confidentiality of all customer information.

The Business Development Manager shall:

- Avoid any act of negligence, misconduct, or unauthorized use of Company resources.

- Be accountable for any intentional misconduct or gross negligence resulting in financial or reputational loss to the Company.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
