Job description for Quality Engineer for Palghar
Safex Fire Services Ltd. is a 50 year old business well established in the field of Fire Safety. We manufacture fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment. Candidates will get good growth prospect & good exposure at our company's production site in Palghar/Chintuapda. We are growing very fast and lot of opportunity for those willing to work sincerely & for long term.
Candidates with experience working with Tier 1 suppliers in the automobile sector are highly preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and basic testing of products using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality control activities.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of documentation related to PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, including 8D reports, PDI reports, and PPAP documentation.
- Coordinate and support internal and external quality audits, ensuring all required documentation and processes are in place.
- Assist in the implementation and adherence to quality control procedures and standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Qualifications & Experience:
· BTech or Diploma in Mechanical engineering (or related field)
· Minimum 1-3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing environment.
Salary & Benefits:
· 2.25 - 3 Lakh P.A (Depending on the candidates)
· Additional benefits including EPF, annual bonus, and travel allowances.
Office Timings:
· 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Sunday (except Friday).
· Week Off: Friday.
