Job Title: Operations Head – Furniture & Luxury Retail

Job Purpose
The Operations Head will oversee the end-to-end execution of factory/vendor production, warehouse and inventory management, logistics, customer deliveries, and on-site white-glove installation. This role acts as the critical bridge between Design/Sales teams, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Final Delivery to ensure seamless execution, high quality standards, and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities1. Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Oversee warehouse operations, raw material staging, and finished goods inventory management. Indeed
- Monitor import/domestic procurement of luxury furniture, lighting, decor, and raw materials to prevent stockouts or excessive holding costs.
- Implement inventory control procedures (barcoding, cycle counts, damage-tracking, and ERP system management).
2. Production & Factory Coordination
- Supervise custom joinery, modular furniture assembly, upholstery, and finishing workflows. BeBee

3. Dispatch, Logistics & White-Glove Installation
- Lead the final-mile logistics team, transit safety protocols, packaging, and dispatch schedules. BeBee

- Oversee site readiness, snag lists, rectifications, and post-installation customer sign-offs.
4. Quality Assurance & Snag Management
- Enforce strict quality check (QC) gates at incoming material receipt, pre-dispatch, and site handover.
- Establish protocols to minimize transit damages, product defects, and customer escalations.
- Lead issue resolution and root-cause analysis for quality complaints or project delays.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Process Improvement
- Coordinate between Sales, Interior Designers, Project Managers, Procurement, and External Vendors.
- Build, mentor, and optimize the operational workforce (warehouse managers, dispatch supervisors, logistics leads, and installation specialists).
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety standards, and operational KPIs across warehousing and site execution.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
- Experience: 8–12+ years of progressive operational experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role within the furniture, modular manufacturing, luxury home décor, or interior fit-out industry.
- Solid understanding of solid wood, engineered wood, upholstery, metal fabrication, and luxury finishings.
- Hands-on expertise with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Zoho), warehouse management software (WMS), and MS Excel.

- Technical: Production planning, logistics routing, vendor negotiation, and quality control frameworks.
- Leadership: Strong team management, delegation, and vendor handling skills.
- Problem-Solving: Decisive under pressure, especially regarding site delays, transit issues, or client escalations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to liaise with senior leadership, clients, architects, and site labor.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
