Job Purpose:
To drive service business growth by selling maintenance contracts (AMC/CMC), repairs, spare parts, and modernization solutions for elevators/escalators, while ensuring customer retention, safety compliance, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:1. Service Sales & Business Development
- Generate sales for:
- Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
- Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC)
- Breakdown/repair jobs
- Spare parts replacement
- Elevator modernization & upgrades
- Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Identify and convert non-contracted elevators into AMC/CMC
2. Contract Renewal & Customer Retention
- Ensure timely renewal of existing maintenance contracts
- Maintain high contract retention ratio
- Track expiry of contracts and initiate renewal discussions in advance
- Build long-term relationships with building owners, facility managers, and societies
3. Site Survey & Technical Coordination
- Conduct site visits to assess elevator condition and service requirements
- Coordinate with service engineers to prepare technical proposals
- Recommend suitable solutions for safety upgrades and modernization
4. Repair, Modernization & Safety Upgrades
- Promote safety-related upgrades (ARD, door safety, controller upgrades, etc.)
- Identify aging elevators requiring modernization
- Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals
5. Collection & Payment Follow-up
- Ensure timely collection of payments as per company policy
- Follow up on outstanding dues
- Maintain healthy receivables
6. Customer Service & Complaint Handling
- Act as a single point of contact for key customers
- Ensure customer complaints are addressed promptly with the service team
- Improve customer satisfaction and service quality perception
7. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities (pricing, services, contracts)
- Identify new buildings, upcoming projects, and potential clients
- Share market insights with management
8. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain customer database and contract records
- Submit daily visit reports (DVR), sales pipeline, and MIS reports
- Update CRM system with sales activities
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- AMC/CMC sales and renewal rate
- Repair & modernization sales value
- Collection efficiency (DSO)
- Conversion of non-AMC units
- Customer satisfaction score
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
- OR
- Graduate with relevant sales experience
Experience:
- 2–5 years in service sales, preferably in:
- Elevator/Lift industry
- Engineering services
- Facility management / maintenance services
Skills Required:
- Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand technical issues and convert into sales opportunities
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
