Within the Global Consultative Businesses, the Delivery pillar supports and works with Deloitte Firms to standardize delivery capabilities across their offerings to provide a consistent experience and higher quality to our clients and proactively manage the increasing complexity and lower the risk in our business. The team drives standardization during scoping, estimation and delivery
Overview of the role
The Ascend Enablement sub-pillar is focused on enabling the Member Firms to adopt Ascend and its components as they are rolled out Globally. The professional will be focused on enablement, by creating kick-off materials, quick reference guides, and FAQs, designing training programs, promoting office hours, and facilitating retrospectives for continuous improvement while compiling risks and feedback.
Key responsibilities
- Support day‑one adoption by working with project teams and Member Firm offering teams during the Ascend activation process, assisting with issue resolution and adoption activities.
- Assist offering teams in showcasing the value of GenAI within their specific contexts, supporting pursuit and project teams with demos and use‑case‑based examples aligned to their needs.
- Coordinate with Ascend development teams as needed to support platform and tool troubleshooting, knowledge transfer, and UAT activities.
- Provide structured feedback on the Ascend platform and other delivery tools to help enhance performance and delivery capabilities.
- Build a strong understanding of the Ascend ecosystem and how individual tools address business challenges, supporting demos that highlight key features and functionalities.
- Quickly familiarize with new technologies (e.g., GenAI), tools, and assets used by offerings, supporting their integration into the Ascend ecosystem and global rollout efforts.
- Support global enablement activities for new tool accelerators as part of the ongoing Ascend ecosystem journey.
- Engage with the M&T network and stakeholders to support knowledge sharing and adoption of GenAI and delivery tools across Deloitte.
- Participate in Delivery pillar global initiatives beyond the core Ascend rollout, as required.
- Assist in gathering and consolidating feedback from stakeholders on Ascend, supporting product teams with inputs for release planning.
- Work effectively in a fast‑paced global team environment, collaborating virtually using strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Support project execution by contributing to core initiatives, managing assigned tasks, and flexing across workstreams.
- Assist senior team members in preparing executive‑level materials (presentations, reports, trackers) with clear structure and storytelling.
- Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to execute requirements and contribute improvement ideas or automations that enhance deliverables.
- Support meeting planning and execution, including agenda drafting, scheduling, and documenting minutes and follow‑up actions.
- Support team operations by managing recurring tasks, organizing project documentation, and assisting with review or coordination activities as needed.
Other responsibilities
Demonstrate strong project management skills, with the ability to seamlessly co-ordinate/switch between different workstreams.
Ability to collaborate across teams to achieve the desired business objective.
Support senior executives in developing executive level documents (PowerPoint presentations, Excel reports, Tableau dashboards etc.) for senior leadership utilizing story boarding skills.
Support meeting planning and execution, including drafting agenda, organizing online and offline meetings and document MoM for follow up and accountability.
Support operational needs of the team, including maintaining and running recurring projects.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to execute requirements and provide suggestions/automations to enhance deliverables.
Requisite core skills
- Deliver tool trainings, demos, labs, and onboarding sessions for new and existing users.
- Support platform activation activities, including hands on coaching and user support.
- Develop and maintain enablement materials (job aids, guides, decks, demo scripts).
- Provide first level coaching to help teams adopt tools effectively in delivery contexts.
- Capture user feedback, questions, and issues, and share insights to improve enablement.
- Build functional and platform expertise while supporting tracking of training and adoption progress.
- High proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and familiarity with AI tools for content creation.
- Strong project management skills, experience in coordination and managing change initiative timelines, tracking to plan and holding team members accountable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including building a network within the team and with primary stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to gather, consolidate, and interpret feedback and adoption trends.
- Strong problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of branding, formatting, and communications template best practices.
- Experience supporting project planning, risk management, and issue resolution in a matrixed or global environment.

- Strong presentation and verbal and written communication skills, and experience communicating to, and working with, virtual teams, and senior leadership cultures and working styles

- Adaptable to fast paced, dynamic environments and working within teams, including virtual set-ups

- Must possess the ability to handle highest level of confidential information
- Added advantage: Knowledge and previous experience in innovation, strategy & operations, transformational roles
- Added advantage: SharePoint knowledge and familiarity with online meeting platforms like MS Teams and Zoom
Added Advantage:
- Familiarity with Deloitte Ascend methodology and platform.
- Experience using NextGen Estimator
- Experience using project management tools like JIRA, PMC, Octane, PMOne/Smartsheet on engagements
- Experience with using and setting up business process modelling tools like ARIS and familiar with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)
- Experience with using and setting up testing tools like ALM
- Professional certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
- Work experience: 4+ years of experience in coaching, tool training, Project Management in consulting firms, exposure to agile and/or waterfall delivery or similar roles.
- Strong track record with previous teams/business
- Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru
- Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
- Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM OR 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with time zones)
- Hybrid working: The individual is expected to come to the base office location at least 2 days a week as per the hybrid plan
