Primary Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis - Understand business requirements and identify test scenarios

Test Case Design - Create effective test cases and test data

Functional Testing - Validate application features against requirements

Regression Testing - Ensure existing functionality works after changes

Smoke & Sanity Testing - Verify build stability and critical functionality

Defect Management - Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects
-
API Testing Basics - Validate API requests and responses using tools like Postman
-
Agile Testing - Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups

Test Documentation - Maintain test cases, execution reports, and traceability

Communication & Collaboration - Work effectively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

Tools Proficiency - Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools

Database Validation - Basic SQL knowledge to verify backend data
