THE ROLE
- As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming concepts and raw footage into compelling visual experiences that resonate with learners, professionals, and corporate audiences.
- You will collaborate with our Creative, Marketing, Academic, and Brand Teams to produce content that is visually engaging, strategically aligned, and capable of delivering measurable impact.
- This position requires a blend of creative thinking, storytelling ability, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Production & Storytelling
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for educational, branding, marketing, and corporate initiatives.
- Transform raw footage into polished visual narratives that engage and inspire audiences.
- Create content optimized for platforms including YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging digital channels.
- Develop visually compelling edits that align with project objectives and audience expectations.
Creative Execution
- Incorporate motion graphics, typography, animations, transitions, sound design, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
- Maintain consistency across all content in accordance with CandleSkill's visual identity and brand guidelines.
- Contribute innovative ideas that elevate content quality and audience engagement.
Collaboration & Project Management
- Partner closely with educators, content creators, marketers, and designers throughout the content development lifecycle.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality standards and meeting deadlines.
- Organize project assets and maintain efficient editing workflows.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed about emerging trends in video production, post-production technologies, digital storytelling, and social media content.
- Continuously explore new creative approaches, tools, and techniques to improve production quality and efficiency.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- We are looking for professionals who combine creative excellence with execution discipline.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience in professional video editing and post-production.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative versatility, storytelling capabilities, and technical proficiency.
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of:
- Visual storytelling
- Editing rhythm and pacing
- Composition and cinematic principles
- Color correction and grading
- Audio enhancement and synchronization
- Ability to independently manage projects from concept to final delivery.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating educational, instructional, corporate, or digital marketing content.
- Familiarity with:
- DaVinci Resolve
- Adobe Audition
- Motion Graphics Workflows
- Understanding of content optimization and audience engagement strategies across digital platforms.
- Experience working within a high-growth startup, creative agency, media organization, or technology-driven company.

- Compensation: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 Per Month
