Job Purpose:
To ensure effective testing of power transformers as per industry standards and client specifications, while ensuring audit readiness, compliance, and continuous improvement in quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Testing & Quality Assurance:

Plan and execute the monthly Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) schedule in coordination with production and quality teams.

Ensure all testing activities adhere to internal standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
2. Audit Readiness & Certification:
-
Successfully lead and ensure compliance during NABL recertification audits.

Coordinate and support the successful completion of ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audits.
3. Supplier & Vendor Quality Management:
-
Prepare and implement vendor reassessment plans specifically for critical materials used in transformer manufacturing.

Calculate and monitor the quality rating of suppliers based on performance and non-conformities.
4. Process Standardization:

Prepare, review, and implement process specifications for power transformer manufacturing and testing.
5. Cost of Non-Conformance (CONC):
-
Analyze and report the cost of non-conformance in quality, both in terms of value and root cause analysis.

Drive initiatives to reduce CONC and improve first-time-right performance.
Desired Candidate Profile:

Education: B. Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline

Experience: 6–8 years of experience in transformer testing and quality control, preferably in a power transformer manufacturing setup

Location Preference: Willing to work in Bhiwadi
Key Competencies:

Strong knowledge of transformer testing protocols and standards (IEC/IS)

Familiarity with NABL and ISO 9001:2015 quality systems

Data analysis and reporting skills (MS Excel, MIS)

Effective communication and team coordination

Problem-solving and root cause analysis capability
