Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Placement Officer to join Upskill Rocket. The candidate will be responsible for connecting students/candidates with suitable job opportunities, building strong relationships with companies, coordinating interviews, and ensuring successful placements. The role also involves guiding candidates in resume building, interview preparation, and career readiness. Placement officers typically manage employer relations, placement drives, candidate preparation, and placement tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, recruiters, and hiring partners.
- Identify job openings, internship opportunities, and placement requirements.
- Coordinate end-to-end placement activities including interview scheduling and follow-ups.
- Share relevant job opportunities with candidates based on their skills and experience.
- Conduct resume screening and maintain candidate placement records.
- Support candidates with interview preparation, resume building, and career guidance.
- Coordinate with internal teams for candidate readiness and hiring updates.
- Follow up with employers and candidates for interview feedback and joining status.
- Organize recruitment drives, hiring events, and placement activities.
- Ensure placement targets and candidate success metrics are achieved. Placement roles commonly include employer engagement, interview coordination, candidate guidance, and tracking placement outcomes.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream (HR, Business, Management preferred)
- Experience in recruitment, placement, HR, or career services is an added advantage. Placement roles often prefer recruitment/HR or employer-engagement exposure.
Preferred Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, HR, or EdTech industry.
