1. Purpose of the Role
The Civil Construction Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The role involves ensuring that work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules while effectively managing site manpower, materials, and contractors.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, designs, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate and allocate work to site workers, technicians, and contractors as per project requirements.
- Monitor manpower deployment and ensure optimum utilization of available resources.
- Check the quality of construction work and ensure compliance with required standards and specifications.
- Monitor the use and availability of construction materials, tools, equipment, and machinery at the site.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Monitor daily work progress and report project status, delays, and site issues to the Head – Construction / Project Manager.
- Ensure proper measurement of completed work and maintain daily site records and measurement records.
- Assist in checking contractor work and supporting the verification of contractor bills and measurements.
- Ensure proper execution of activities such as excavation, PCC, RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, flooring, structural works, and other civil works as applicable.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and other departments for smooth execution of site activities.
- Identify construction-related issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the construction site.
- Strictly follow and enforce safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company safety policies.
- Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records, material records, inspection reports, and other required site documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken wherever required.
- Support the Project Manager / Head – Construction in achieving project targets within the approved timeline and budget.

4. Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in civil construction site supervision with strong knowledge of construction execution, manpower coordination, quality control, and safety practices. The candidate should be capable of independently supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors and workers, monitoring daily progress, and ensuring that assigned construction work is completed safely, efficiently, and as per the required standards.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
