Senior Scientific Writer – Contract
Contract Duration: 6 months (Extendable Based on Project Requirements)
Location: Remote / Hybrid / On-site (as applicable)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Scientific Writer with demonstrated expertise in the development of Original Research Articles, Narrative Reviews, Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs), Meta-Analyses, and Network Meta-Analyses (NMAs) to support evidence synthesis and publication projects across therapeutic areas.
The candidate will be responsible for developing scientifically rigorous, publication-quality manuscripts and evidence synthesis reports while collaborating closely with statisticians, clinical experts, and project stakeholders.
Key areas of expertise should include:
- Original article development (clinical and observational research)
- Narrative literature reviews
- Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs)
- Meta-analysis and Network Meta-analysis reporting
- PROSPERO protocol development and registration support
- PRISMA and PRISMA-NMA reporting standards
- Risk of bias assessment interpretation (RoB2, Newcastle-Ottawa Scale)
- Interpretation of statistical outputs including forest plots, funnel plots, heterogeneity analyses, league tables, and SUCRA rankings
- Manuscript development for peer-reviewed journals
- Conference abstracts, posters, and scientific presentations
- Publication planning and response to peer-review comments
Experience:
- Minimum 4–6 years of scientific/ medical writing experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting SLR, Meta-analysis, and NMA projects (mandatory)
- Prior publication record in indexed journals preferred
