We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Diamond Assorter to evaluate, sort, and categorize diamonds based on quality, size, shape, color, and clarity. The role requires strong knowledge of grading standards and precision handling of loose lab grown stones.
Key Responsibilities

Sort and assort diamonds based on size, shape, color, clarity, and cut
- Evaluate diamonds using industry grading standards (4Cs – Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat)
- Diamond assortment-Grading, Gauging, Sizing, Purity check

Jewellery assortment & Categorization

Design wise bagging of jewellery

Match stones for consistency in jewelry manufacturing
- Packet marking & labelling
- Piece cleaning & laser checking

Stock tally and verification
- Maintain accurate records of assortments and inventory
- Identify and separate diamonds based on requirements

Ensure quality control and minimize discrepancies
- Work closely with production, procurement, and QC teams
Handle diamonds carefully to avoid damage or loss

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Diamond Assorter in a jewelry manufacturing/export company
- Strong knowledge of diamond grading and assortment techniques
- Familiarity with natural/ lab-grown diamonds
- Good eyesight and attention to minute details
- Ability to work with magnification tools (loupe, microscope)
Basic record-keeping and inventory skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in gems & jewellery manufacturing/export units (SEEPZ experience preferred)
- Certification in diamond grading (e.g., GIA or equivalent)
