Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Fresher Service Engineer to join our Computer Hardware Department. The candidate will assist senior engineers in hardware installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and onsite customer support while gaining practical technical experience through on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- Perform preventive maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and basic networking issues.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems, device drivers, and software applications.
- Provide onsite technical support to customers and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Respond promptly to service calls and maintain service quality standards.
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records of customer visits.
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure efficient completion of assigned tasks.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures while performing onsite service activities.
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge through training and guidance from senior engineers.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, TCP/IP, routers, switches).
- Knowledge of printers, scanners, and other computer peripherals.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel for onsite customer support.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of hardware assembly and maintenance.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and customer service practices.
- Internship or academic project experience in hardware support will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
