Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production while meeting quality and safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and report major issues to maintenance personnel.
- Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Follow workplace safety policies and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma.
- Previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or production schedules.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overtime as required.
