Fish River Rural Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a National Health Service Corp (NHSC) approved site. NHSC-approved sites are healthcare facilities that provide outpatient, ambulatory, and primary health services in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs), which are communities with limited access to care. The NHSC is a Federal government program that offers financial and other support to Corps Members.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN/DELIVERY AND PATIENT TRANSPORT / Eagle Lake Health Center and Bolduc Avenue Health Center in Fort Kent
Fish River Rural Health is accepting applications for a full-time Pharmacy Technician / Delivery and Patient Transport. Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory and maintaining accurate records, providing outstanding customer service to patients and healthcare teams, supporting medication safety and access through our integrated care model, delivering medications to patients as needed, providing patient shuttle to and from clinic appointments and traveling between Eagle Lake and Fort Kent to support daily pharmacy operations. Qualifications include prior pharmacy technician experience preferred; willing to train motivated individuals, a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, strong communication, math, computer, and organizational skills, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment, flexibility to work between Eagle Lake and Fort Kent as needed and commitment to quality care, teamwork, and patient-centered service.
