Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Structural / Mechanical Draftsman with experience in AutoCAD, steel fabrication drawings, and structural detailing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings while supporting manufacturing and production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D engineering, fabrication, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create General Arrangement (GA), assembly, and part drawings.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintain drawing documentation.
- Develop detailed drawings for steel structures, fabricated components, and equipment.
- Understand fabrication processes including welding, cutting, bending, and assembly.
- Coordinate with design, production, and fabrication teams for drawing revisions.
- Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Review and update drawings based on manufacturing requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Civil, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman, Structural Draftsman, or Steel Detailer.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience in steel fabrication, structural detailing, and manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledge of GA drawings, shop drawings, fabrication documentation, and BOM preparation.
- Good understanding of welding and fabrication processes.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in Scaffolding, Formwork, Construction Equipment, PEB, or Heavy Fabrication industries will be preferred.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
