Job Summary :
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor cum Graphic Designer to join our News & Media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing news videos, creating engaging visual content, designing graphics, thumbnails, banners, and supporting the digital media team with high-quality creative assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit news videos, interviews, short clips, and promotional content.
- Create visually appealing graphics for news stories, social media, and digital platforms.
- Design thumbnails, banners, posters, infographics, and social media creatives.
- Add transitions, effects, captions, and audio enhancements to video content.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited videos and graphic designs.
- Collaborate with reporters, anchors, content writers, and the media team.
- Maintain consistency in branding and visual identity across all platforms.
- Stay updated with current design trends and video editing techniques.
- Manage and organize video and design assets effectively.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools.
- Strong video editing and graphic design skills.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and visual storytelling.
- Understanding of social media content formats and requirements.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced news environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- A portfolio showcasing video editing and graphic design work is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in News Media, Digital Media, or Broadcasting.
- Knowledge of YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Basic understanding of photography and videography.
