DUTIES
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising Strategy Development:
· Collaborate with the Founder/Director to create and implement comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with the organization's goals.
Donor Identification & Outreach
· Research and identify potential donors, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partners, foundations, and grant opportunities.
· Maintain and regularly update the donor database.
· Draft introductory emails, concept notes, and follow-up communication.
· Schedule meetings for the CEO with prospective donors and partners.
Grant Writing and Proposal Development:
· Prepare grant proposals and funding applications.
· Work closely with with the Director/COO and other relevant staff to gather information for grant applications.
Compliance & Record Keeping
· Ensure all fundraising activities comply with applicable legal and financial regulations.
· Maintain organized records of commitments, receipts, donor agreements, and communication history.
· Update all donations and relevant donor info on the oganization’s CRM
Donor Cultivation and Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing donors and sponsors.
· Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
· Develop and implement strategies to engage donors, keeping them informed and involved in the organization's activities.
Internal Coordination
· Coordinate closely with the Founder/Director for approvals, strategy alignment, and key donor engagement.
· Liase with the Gabriel Project Mumbai Board of Directors
· Participate in periodic review meetings and present updates on progress.
· Prepare periodic Social Media updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, CSR coordination, or related roles.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with current communication tools.
Position Details
- Duration: Full Time (5 days per week) some after hours work if necessary
- Mode: Hybrid
- Location: Mumbai (as required for meetings & events). Monthly travel to our village center for meetings as required
- Compensation: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on ability and drive.
- · During periods when fundraising responsibilities are limited, the candidate will be expected to support and volunteer with the Local Gabriel Project Mumbai partner, Grameen First Development Foundation, by assisting with activities and assignments as required.
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mumbai, Maharashtra (Mumbai)
