We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of the digestive system, including diseases of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and biliary tract. The role involves providing expert outpatient care, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaborating with other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient management.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders.
Conduct outpatient consultations and formulate individualized treatment plans.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy, where applicable.
Diagnose and manage conditions such as GERD, peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), fatty liver disease, hepatitis, pancreatitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, and gastrointestinal cancers.
Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, pathology reports, and endoscopy findings.
Counsel patients on disease prevention, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and long-term management.
Coordinate care with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, dietitians, and primary care physicians.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
Adhere to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and quality assurance guidelines.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
Qualifications
MBBS from an NMC-recognized institution.
DM/DNB in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the respective State Medical Council.
Additional expertise in therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, or hepatology is preferred.
Experience
Fresh DM/DNB graduates and experienced consultants are encouraged to apply.
1–10+ years of experience in gastroenterology practice is preferred.
Experience in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or endoscopy centers is an advantage.

Pay: ₹2,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per day
