### Role Summary
The Recruitment Manager will lead end-to-end talent acquisition for our rice export and agro-processing business. This role requires a hands-on recruiter with deep experience in high-volume hiring for Senior Level positions - GM Export Sales, DGM Exports, and other role like Digital Marketing professionals, mill operations, quality control, and international trade roles. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to the food processing, agri-commodity, or export industry and will drive strategic hiring to support business growth while ensuring compliance and a positive candidate experience.
### Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business goals, including workforce planning for rice mill operations, packaging, quality assurance, export documentation, logistics, and sales teams.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage end-to-end recruitment for mid-to-senior level roles — from sourcing and screening to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Sourcing & Pipeline Building: Utilize job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), social media, campus hiring, employee referrals, and industry networks to build a strong talent pool for technical roles (e.g., GM Export Sale, AGM Exports, Quality Control offiecer, Export Executives, Finance Manager, etc.) and support functions.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with Plant Heads, Production Managers, Export Heads, and functional leaders to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and ensure timely closures.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company as an employer of choice in the rice export/agri sector through targeted campaigns, job fairs, and professional networking.
- Process Optimization: Implement and maintain Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality of hire), and improve recruitment efficiency.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all hiring practices comply with Indian labour laws, company policies, and industry-specific requirements (FSSAI, export regulations awareness helpful).
- Industry-Specific Hiring: Focus on sourcing candidates experienced in Rice Sales, Commodity Trading, Financing, rice milling, paddy procurement, Basmati grading, packaging, international certifications (e.g., BRC, HACCP), and global trade.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly recruitment dashboards and forecasts for senior management.
### Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5–12+ years of proven experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment, preferably in Food Processing, Agri Commodities, Rice Mill, FMCG, or Export-oriented manufacturing.
- Education: Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. MBA in HR preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong sourcing and full-cycle recruitment expertise.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing and plant-level hiring (blue-collar, supervisory, and managerial roles).
- Proficiency with ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and MS Office.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle high-volume recruitment during peak seasons (e.g., new crop cycles).
- Preferred:
- Prior experience in rice export, basmati rice, or similar agro-export companies
- Proficient in talent acquisition and networking in the rice industry
- Results-oriented with a strong commercial acumen
- Adaptable to diverse cultures and business environments
