Job Summary
he QA/Test Lead will own overall testing strategy and validation governance for migrated and upgraded DataStage workloads. The project documents explicitly mention functional, regression, performance testing, UAT, reconciliation, and sign-off .
Key Responsibilities
Define test strategy for DataStage upgrade and migration validation.
Create test plans, test cases, and validation checkpoints for job functionality, data quality, and performance.
Lead functional, regression, performance, and volume testing of migrated jobs.
Coordinate SIT/UAT support, defect triage, and closure tracking.
Ensure test evidence, sign-off documentation, and production-go-live readiness.
Work closely with Data Reconciliation Lead and business stakeholders on acceptance criteria
Skill Requirements
Strong ETL/data testing experience.
Good understanding of data validation, defect management, and regression strategy.
Experience testing complex transformation pipelines and migration scenarios
Other Requirements
Experience with DataStage-based ETL systems.
Exposure to large data-volume validation and reconciliation
