We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant with strong hands-on experience in the PEB / Pre-Engineered Building or Steel Manufacturing industry. The candidate should have complete knowledge of accounting, taxation, compliance, costing, MIS, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting operations and supporting management with accurate financial information and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete day-to-day accounting activities.
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor/customer ledgers and reconciliations.
- Prepare and monitor bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare GST returns, TDS returns and coordinate with consultants/auditors.
- Maintain purchase, sales, expenses, inventory and journal entries.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely settlements.
- Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance and other financial reports.
- Prepare regular MIS reports for management.
- Handle project-wise / job-wise costing, material consumption and profitability analysis.
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, production, sales and project teams for accounting and costing requirements.
- Monitor inventory accounting and reconciliation of physical vs. book stock.
- Assist in budgeting, cash-flow planning and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.
Required Industry Experience
PEB / Steel / Engineering / Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory or highly preferred.
The candidate should understand:
- Raw material and steel inventory accounting
- Production-related accounting
- Project/job-wise costing
- Material consumption and wastage
- Vendor billing and purchase accounting
- Project billing and customer receivables
- Manufacturing and project profitability
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally / ERP / accounting software
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS and taxation
- Good knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Experience
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in PEB, steel fabrication, engineering or manufacturing companies
- Candidates who have independently handled complete accounts and statutory compliance will be preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
