Full Job Description
TRUELIMB is looking for a skilled and passionate Prosthetist & Orthotist to join our rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient assessment, measurement, fabrication, fitting, alignment, and follow-up care for prosthetic and orthotic devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and recommend suitable prosthetic and orthotic solutions
- Perform measurement, casting, fabrication, fitting, and alignment of prosthetic and orthotic devices
- Fabrication and fitting of:
- Below Knee (BK) / Transtibial Prosthesis
- Above Knee (AK) / Transfemoral Prosthesis
- Below Elbow (BE) Prosthesis
- Above Elbow (AE) Prosthesis
- AFO, KAFO, HKAFO, calipers, and other orthotic devices
- Spinal braces and rehabilitation support devices
- Perform modifications, lamination, finishing, and maintenance work
- Provide patient counseling and gait training support
- Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow-up schedules
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO/MPO)
- Strong communication and patient-handling skills
- Experience preferred; freshers may also apply
- Ability to work independently and as part of a rehabilitation team
