The ERP Solution Consultant leads independently complex ERP solution delivery, proactively solves product issues, and contributes to architecture. In this role, you will guide product teams, champion accountability, and effectively communicate with all stakeholders. You will solve complex problems, make independent product-level decisions, provide technical oversight, and report at the product or product line level. By bringing advanced ERP knowledge, in-depthexpertise in key areas, and strong analytical skills, you will actively contribute to continuous improvement and team development.

- Scope / (ContentLeadership): Works and leads independently to deliver solution design and products with increased complexity (e.g., technical, scope, stakeholders) in the ERP area that meet product requirements and business priorities. Proactivelyidentifies issues at the product level, proposes ideas on how to tackle them, and keeps applying a continuous improvement mindset. Documents and evolves the architecture throughout the product lifecycle, andleads the development of approaches to be used across product teams/squads.Researches, evaluates, pilots, and drives the adoption ofnew technologies while providing technical oversight and consultation.
- Accountability/Problem Solving: Determines methods and procedures on assignments and coordinates or guides the activities of others in the team. Qualifications
Education / Experience
- Demonstrated experience working and leading independently to deliver complex solution designs and products within the ERP area.
- Proventrack record of driving the successful completion of major programs or product milestones,frequently functioning in a leadership, tech lead, or product owner role.
- Experience contributing to talent acquisition and capability development, including mentoring, interviewing, and organizing training.
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of ERP IT concepts and practices, with general and in-depth knowledge in one or two specific ERP& technology areas.
- Extensive understanding of tools, principles, concepts, and techniques related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis.
- Good knowledge of architecture practices, and the ability to document and evolve architecture throughout the product life cycle.
- Intermediate level of business process domain knowledge.
1. Solution Design& Architecture
- Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration ofSAP Batch Release Hub for Life Sciences onSAP BTP.
- Architect cross-system data flows between SAP S/4HANA (QM, MM, PP-PI), third-party Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Document Management Systems (DMS) into the BRH.
- Design data models andleverageSAP HANA DB capabilities to ensure high-performance querying and aggregation of batch genealogy, inspection lots, and regulatory release data.
2. Configuration& Integration
- Configure SAP BRH business rules, release check suites, release decision triggers, and Quality Department authorization structures.
- Setup integration adapters viaSAP Integration Suite / CPIutilizing public APIs and REST services.
- Establish integrations withSAP Global Batch Traceability (GBT) or S/4HANA Batch Genealogy to perform multi-tier genealogy checks.
- Manage extension development onSAP BTP (CAP/RAP models, Node.js/Java, or SAP Fiori/UI5) for customized release check logic or localized compliance rules.
3. Compliance, Validation&GxP
- Ensure all technical implementationsstrictly comply withGxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and EMA guidelines.
- Configure secure electronic signature workflows, audit logging, and data freezing mechanisms uponrelease decision confirmation.
- Prepare and execute Computer Software Validation (CSV) deliverables, including Functional Specifications (FS), Configuration Specs, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, and Traceability Matrices.
4. Collaboration& Support
- Partner directly with Quality Assurance (QA), Regulatory Affairs, and Qualified Persons (QPs) to translate life sciences business requirements into functional BRH features.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues on SAP BTP subaccounts, Identity Authentication Services (IAS/IdP), and destination services.
Required Qualifications&ExperienceTechnical Skills
- SAP Batch Release Hub (BRH): Hands-on configuration experience with SAP Batch Release Hub for Life Sciences.
- SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform): Proven experience navigating BTP Cockpit, Cloud Foundry, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), Extension Suite, Destination Service, and Identity Authentication Service (IAS).
- SAP HANA / S/4HANA: Strong background in SAP S/4HANA Quality Management (QM), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP-PI), and Core Data Services (CDS) views / HANA DB querying.
- Integration Expertise: Solid knowledge of OData, REST APIs, JSON/XML handling, and middleware integration patterns connecting SAP and non-SAP platforms (LIMS, MES, Veeva,Syncade).
Domain& Compliance Knowledge
- Industry Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or Biotechnology sector.
- GxP& Regulatory Standard: In-depth understanding of GMP, Electronic Signatures (21 CFR Part 11), Audit Trails, and CSV frameworks.
Education& Soft Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Certifications (Preferred): SAP Certified Development Associate (SAP BTP) or SAP Certified Integration Associate.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to bridge technical delivery teams with quality business users.
