Position Title: Store Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to oversee the complete store and inventory operations of our Medical College & Research Hospital. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient management of medical and non-medical supplies, maintain inventory accuracy, and support uninterrupted hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of central stores and inventory
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, and issue of materials
- Maintain stock records in ERP / inventory management system
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages and overstocking
- Track expiry, slow-moving, and non-moving items
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliations
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely supply
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
- Prepare inventory and consumption reports for management
- Lead and supervise store staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Business / Supply Chain / Logistics
- MBA or Diploma in Materials Management is an added advantage
- 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in hospital / healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, store operations, and material management
- Good communication, leadership, and analytical skills
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in medical college or multispecialty hospital preferred
- Ability to handle high-volume inventory and multiple departments
- Strong problem-solving and team management skills
