The Financial Statement Typist supports the UAE Assurance teams by formatting, standardising, and preparing
Financial Statements (FS) in compliance with Grant Thornton UAE templates, branding, and quality standards.
This role removes manual formatting workload from Team Coordinators and Audit teams, ensuring fast,
consistent, and accurate FS delivery.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Format draft Financial Statements using GT UAE templates, including spacing, alignment, numbering,
tables, and headers/footers
Ensure consistency and compliance with GT branding and FS SOPs
Conduct final quality checks before returning FS to UAE teams
Track and manage FS tasks using workflow/ticketing tools with agreed SLAs
Communicate with UAE Team Coordinators and Audit Teams regarding formatting queries
Support peak FS periods by handling high document volume efficiently
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
At least one year of experience with document formatting, typing, DTP, or production support
Experience in professional services (audit/legal/consulting) preferred
Exposure to financial documents is an advantage
Advanced Microsoft Word formatting expertise (mandatory)
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and consistency mindset
Ability to manage large Word files with complex tables
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Fast turnaround and ability to work under pressure
