Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month (Based on Interview Performance & Experience)
Job Summary
Lucknow Builders is looking for a dedicated, responsible, and detail-oriented Site Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, site supervision skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, architects, and project teams.
The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising construction activities, ensuring quality standards, monitoring project progress, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring timely completion of projects according to approved drawings and specifications.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Execution
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Monitor labour productivity and contractor performance.
- Verify quality of workmanship and construction materials.
- Resolve site-related technical issues promptly.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure smooth communication between site teams and management.
- Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved.
Quality Control
- Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Verify materials before use on site.
- Report defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain quality inspection records.
Site Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote safe working practices among labour and contractors.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections.
- Report safety hazards and accidents immediately.
Measurement & Billing
- Verify work measurements executed at site.
- Assist in preparing contractor bills and quantity measurements.
- Maintain records of daily material consumption and site progress.
- Coordinate with the accounts and procurement teams for material requirements.
Material Management
- Monitor material delivery, storage, and utilization.
- Ensure proper inventory of construction materials.
- Prevent material wastage through effective planning.
- Coordinate procurement requirements with the purchase department.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain Daily Site Progress Reports (DPR).
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
- Maintain site records, drawings, measurements, inspection reports, and photographs.
- Report project status regularly to senior management.
Client & Vendor Coordination
- Attend client meetings whenever required.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding material delivery schedules.
- Ensure client requirements are executed as per project specifications.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Knowledge of RCC work, finishing work, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and structural works.
- Good understanding of construction materials and quality standards.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Professional attitude with strong organizational skills.
Eligibility
- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Site Engineer in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with construction companies, builders, contractors, or real estate developers will be preferred.
- Candidate should be a resident of Lucknow or willing to relocate.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of construction site experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of construction execution and site supervision.
- Ability to read civil drawings and execute work accordingly.
- Willingness to travel between project sites whenever required.
- Must coordinate effectively with contractors, labour, vendors, and management.
- Should maintain discipline, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Must follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of project-related information.
