Job Title: Store Officer
Qualification: Any Graduate

Job Responsibilities
1. Material Receipts & Inward Documentation
- Manage daily inbound logistics for raw chemicals, engineering spares, solvents, packing materials, and lab apparatus.
- Verify incoming material physical count/weight against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans (DC), and Invoice documents.
- Complete physical and paperwork verification before generating Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in the ERP system.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the Quality Control (QC) department for material sampling and chemical inspection clearance.
2. Hazardous Chemical Handling & Storage Safety
- Ensure strict adherence to chemical storage layout standards (segregating incompatible, flammable, toxic, and hazardous chemicals).
- Overlook safe unloading operations (e.g., handling barrels, carboys, or tankers) utilizing standard safety equipment like barrel pumps and PPE.
- Ensure material tracking systems like FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) are rigidly followed for perishable or highly reactive raw compounds.
3. Material Issue & Production Coordination
- Issue chemicals, solvents, and engineering maintenance items to plant production lines strictly based on authorized internal material indents.
- Maintain clean, organized record-keeping for daily material consumption across shifts to prevent any missing links in the production workflow.
- Monitor minimum and maximum inventory levels to trigger early replenishment alerts for critical chemical raw materials and eliminate plant downtime.
4. Inventory Control & Auditing
- Conduct periodic physical stock verifications, matching system ledger data with physical counts (cycle counts and monthly stock audits).
- Supervise accurate tracking of empty chemical barrels, drums, and scrap material disposal according to internal regulatory procedures.
- Ensure high standards of workspace maintenance and industrial housekeeping in all raw material, finished goods, and engineering sub-stores.
