Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. You will read technical blueprints, prep materials, and execute precise welds primarily on stainless steel, aluminum, and thin-gauge metals. Your attention to detail is critical for delivering high-quality aesthetic finishes and structural integrity for our projects.Key Responsibilities
- Precision Welding: Perform high-quality TIG welds on materials like stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings to plan work.
- Material Prep: Clean, grind, and clamp metal components together to prepare them for the welding process.
- Equipment Setup: Adjust welding machine settings, gas flow rates, and amperage based on material thickness.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for cracks, defects, or burn-through to meet strict quality standards.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain a clean workspace and strictly follow safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop.
- Technical Skill: Exceptional hand-eye coordination and control over the torch and filler rod.
- Material Knowledge: Deep understanding of how different metals react to heat and gas shielding.
- Tool Proficiency: Skilled using grinders, clamps, measuring tapes, and plasma cutters.
- Physical Ability: Able to stand for long periods, maintain steady hand positions, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Education: High school diploma, ITI Welder or trade school completion.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
