Production Chemist

Key Responsibilities

· Plan and execute batch/continuous production as per production schedule

· Monitor chemical reactions, parameters (temperature, pressure, pH, flow rate)

· Ensure adherence to SOPs, BMR/BPR, GMP, and safety guidelines

· Troubleshoot process deviations and optimize yields

· Coordinate with QA, QC, Maintenance, and EHS departments

· Maintain production records, logbooks, and batch documents

· Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished goods

· Train and guide production operators

· Implement cost reduction, productivity improvement initiatives

· Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Pollution Control norms, and ISO standards

Qualifications

· B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry OR Chemical Engineering

· Knowledge of industrial chemical processes

Experience

· 0–8 years in chemical / pharma / specialty chemical production

· Experience in batch or continuous processes preferred

Skills Required

· Strong process knowledge

· Safety and risk assessment awareness

· Documentation and reporting skills

· Leadership and problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
