This position is based in Bengaluru, India, operating from Sabre's office while working closely with the Conferma team.
The position:
As our Principal tester, you will be our brightest and best. You will lead the way on how we perform testing. You will be responsible for assessing and enhancing our testing processes, implementing automation proficiency and evaluating and recommending the tools and technologies we should use to ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will rigorously enforce testing standards and ensure our application stack is fit for future. We have ambitious plans and you will be delivering the software that will allow us to deliver upon these.
We partner with some of the biggest names in finance and banking and this requires high standards. You will work with our product teams to deliver exciting new features and help us reach new markets worldwide. You will play a key role in ensuring we deliver software that is extensible, robust, performant and secure.
You'll be responsible for:

Evaluating and recommending the tools and technologies used within our testing process.

Staying up to date with relevant testing technologies and approaches, understanding their capabilities.
- Ensuring the team is working efficiently, effectively and delivering high-quality software.

Acting as a Subject Matter Expert and technical authority across the testing area.
- Driving continuous improvement, continually assessing and evaluating the performance of our test function.

Mentoring, coaching and developing members of the department.
- Effectively communicating testing progress, risks and issues to project managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
You will have:

Proven commercial experience in testing across multiple phases in an agile environment.
- Experience using Postman and Playwright.
- Expertise in leading manual and automated testing using a variety of tools.

A background in mentoring, coaching and leading testers at different levels of experience.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, test processes and methodologies.
Proven experience leading the successful delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Compensation:
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience and skills.
