Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities
- Maintain spring manufacturing machines including CNC coiling machines, furnaces, shot peening, grinding, compressors, and utility equipment
- Minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency and reliability
- Analyze machine breakdowns and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues
- Coordinate with production team for smooth operations and maintenance shutdown planning
- Support installation, commissioning, and improvement of new machines and equipment
- Lead and supervise maintenance team including engineers, technicians, electricians, and fitters
- Assign daily maintenance tasks and monitor team performance
- Conduct safety training and ensure adherence to safety procedures and LOTO practices
- Handle vendor management, contractor supervision, and spare parts coordination
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and machine history documentation
- Monitor KPIs such as uptime, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance cost control
- Ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, TPM, and audit requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Hands-on experience in maintenance of manufacturing machinery and utility equipment
- Knowledge of TPM, CNC machines, PLC systems, and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to manage maintenance planning and team supervision
- Good communication, leadership, and vendor management skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical manuals
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing plant maintenance
