Job Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Assist in managing virtual machines, storage, databases, networking, and other cloud services.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and system performance.
- Support troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure and application-related issues.
- Assist in implementing backup, recovery, security, and monitoring solutions.
- Work with senior engineers to understand infrastructure and cloud requirements.
- Assist in automating repetitive infrastructure and deployment tasks.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes.
- Work with Linux/Unix-based operating systems and basic system administration tasks.
- Assist in configuring networking components such as VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancers.
- Maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure, configurations, and deployment processes.
- Follow cloud security, access-control, and infrastructure best practices.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams.
- Stay updated with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Cloud Computing concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals such as IP addresses, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, ports, and subnets.
- Basic knowledge of cloud storage, compute, databases, and networking services.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Basic understanding of scripting using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of security and IAM concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn new cloud and DevOps technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cloud Computing, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2025, 2026 pass-outs and candidates with up to 1 year of experience may apply.
- Cloud certifications, internships, academic projects, or hands-on cloud training will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and an interest in cloud computing are encouraged to apply.
