About the role
We're building an AI-powered SaaS platform in the immigration/legal-tech space, combining a modern web app with Gen-AI-driven document analysis and decision support. You'll work across the stack — from FastAPI services and databases to production deployments — alongside a small, fast-moving team.
What you'll do
Build and maintain backend services in Python / FastAPI
Integrate Gen AI / AI-ML features (LLMs, RAG, document analysis) into product workflows
Design and query SQL databases (PostgreSQL)
Deploy and manage apps on cloud platforms — Render, Railway, Vercel, AWS, GCP
Contribute to full-stack features end to end (backend + frontend)
What we're looking for
Hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI (or similar backend frameworks)
Working knowledge of AI/ML and Gen AI concepts and APIs
Comfort with SQL and general backend fundamentals
Practical hosting/deployment experience across at least one or two of the above platforms
Strong communication skills — you'll interface directly with clients
Self-driven, quick learner, comfortable in a startup pace
Nice to have
React / modern frontend experience
Exposure to vector databases or RAG pipelines
