Roles & Responsibilities
1. Meat Processing
- Receive meat from the raw material section for processing.
- Cut, trim, debone, slice, and portion meat according to production specifications.
- Prepare meat for marination, cooking, or further processing.
- Ensure correct portion size, weight, and quality standards.
2. Product Quality
- Inspect meat for freshness, colour, texture, and quality.
- Remove bones, fat, cartilage, and unwanted materials as per product specifications.
- Segregate damaged or non-conforming meat and report to the Production Supervisor or QC team.
- Minimize meat wastage while maintaining product quality.
3. Hygiene & Sanitation
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GHP (Good Hygiene Practices).
- Wash and sanitize knives, cutting boards, tables, and equipment before and after use.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area throughout the shift.
- Follow personal hygiene requirements, including regular hand washing.
4. Food Safety Compliance
- Comply with HACCP, FSSAI, and company food safety procedures.
- Prevent cross-contamination between raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of meat during processing.
- Follow allergen and contamination control procedures where applicable.
5. Yield & Waste Control
- Achieve the target meat yield as per company standards.
- Minimize trimming losses and avoid unnecessary wastage.
- Segregate waste according to company procedures.
- Report abnormal losses to the Production Supervisor.
6. Cold Chain Maintenance
- Handle meat within the specified temperature limits.
- Minimize the time meat remains outside chilled or frozen storage.
- Immediately transfer processed meat to the next production stage or cold storage.
- Report any cold chain deviations to the supervisor.
7. Safety Compliance
- Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including:
- Cut-resistant gloves
- Apron
- Safety shoes
- Hairnet
- Face mask
- Follow safe knife-handling practices.
- Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
8. Teamwork
- Work closely with Production, Quality Control, and Warehouse teams.
- Support production targets and shift requirements.
- Assist in training new employees when required.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
